I shared the Top with 4 others and it has remained there all day!!! It's pretty exciting!!! I took a pic, yes I know I'm silly but that would be the only way you could see it without going there and joining.....which you should if you love to scrap.

See it on the left!

Think Spring, Think Spring!

Well, today I took advantage of an empty house. Mike is out and Rach went sled riding. So it is just Bo and I hanging in my craft room. What a nice time we had. I wanted to use my new Copic markers, so I had to find a stamp that I could color. I had this heart one out because of Valentines and decided to use it. I always like shades of purple, lavender, and greens together, throw in a little yellow and this is what I came up with today! Hope you enjoy it!

A Spring Hello

Close up using my Copic Markers!

Bottom of the card

These are the Copic Markers that I used! I love them, they are the best! I only own 46 out of the 334 that they make!!! I have a ways to go to finish my collection of them. I purchased a set of 36 off of Ebay and then I go to Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and buy 1 or 2 at a time. So, if you ever need an idea of what to ever give me, now you know!!!! teehee

Products used for this card:

Green paper- Stampin Up
Lavender and purple paper unknown
Stamp- Stampin Up
Kaisercraft rhinestones
Spellbinders fancy tags
Ribbon- Stampin up
Punch-Martha Stewart
Stickles-Diamond (glitter on the ribbon)
Copic Sketch Markers

That's all for today, might start another card later tonight. Oh, one last thing, I went over to and saw this and thought it was cute;

I should print it off and make up a card....

Mine was pretty uneventful until we got home from church and lunch. I was busy talking on the phone to a friend and had noticed that Mike had disappeared upstairs for a long time. After I got off the phone, I called up there and asked him what he was doing. I thought he said laying, which I thought resting. I headed up and I saw him rushing out of my craft room "Laying down I said???" and he told me he said "PLAYING!!!..not LAYING!!!" I said "What are you doing in there?" He said "Oh, you just couldn't stay downstairs for a few more minutes." What for I asked while I was walking in the room. And then I saw what he was up to!!!! He was making me a Valentine's Day card. Can you believe it??? Along with the card, he gave me a flowering plant too! This is the most special card that I have ever received. How cool is this??? Isn't he the greatest!!! This is why I love him so much. Thanks Mike your awesome!

He said he didn't get to finish it, that he was looking for a small alphabet set to stamp "Mike" in the middle of the heart. I told him to go ahead and finish it be he said that was OK. So, below is his finished card that he made. I hope it's not his last. It was such a great surprise. Love ya, Mike. Bren

Bo in the snow

Rachel gave him this Valentine Heart

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Sorry that it's been awhile since I have posted. For the last 3 weeks Bo has been sick. Long story short he started with an eye infection and ended up not eating or drinking for over a week. He ended up at the emergency vet and spent the night and then we transferred him to our regular vet. where he stayed 3 more nights. After many test, they thought he must have swallowed a foreign object. He was headed to surgery, but they said lets do a Chemistry blood test, which we are pretty sure we wouldn't find anything because he is so young(2 1/2 years old). But unfortunately, he came up with a problem related to his kidneys. They did fluid therapy and we brought him home and the latest news is he has improved!

Our next step is to wait 2 weeks and retest him. I am cooking for him, trying to put more weight on him as he lost 9 pounds. He is doing so much better, eating, running in the snow, and now he is barking more than ever especially at the Cincinnati Bell commercial that has a hairy stuff animal in it and the Disney commercial with miss piggy ...... Go's great seeing him up and about.
